Position:

PROJECT MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:

Provide overall project management support such as maintaining maintenance plan, tracking milestones, providing budget analysis, and conducting activities identified below:

  • Maintain Mediasite Recorders and servers.
  • Correct any small changes in courses (broken links, incorrect phone numbers, spelling errors).
  • Maintain SMA courses per the maintenance schedule and course maintenance procedure. • Develop and Maintain SMA Technical Excellence Program (STEP) Course and Curriculum database.
  • Assist in SMA Toolbox Content Update.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects.
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes the progress of the project.
  • Coordinate with the customer to create work packages, develop task lists and activities scheduled for the entire team.
  • Provide input to the Project Coordinator/Integrated Project Lead on projects just described as input into a Project Scheduling Tool.
  • Provide updates to schedules so that reports displaying estimated vs. actual dates of activities can be generated.
  • Supervise the team of employees.
  • Have a thorough understanding/working knowledge of the customer and its mission.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver assignments and recurring & customized reports on time.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience applying Project Management concepts.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using spreadsheet and presentation software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION:

BA/BS

EXPERIENCE:

10+ years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CAPM or PMP certification is desirable
