We are currently seeking the following position that is contract contingent:

Administrative Assistant

Scope of Work:

Responsible for coordinating internal administrative functions relative to the program. facilitating grantee workshops, webinars, oversight events, and other Program Oversight-related meetings; lead compliance training sessions (including workshops) for single or multiple FTA recipients.

Educational requirements: N/A

Required experience and expertise:

Minimum of 4-years of diversified clerical, administrative, and general office duties. This position requires experience using automation tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Provides administrative-technical and clerical tasks in support of a
program manager assigned to the contract. Provides a broad range of administrative support, which includes budget/financial tracking, travel arrangements, payroll records, purchasing, security processing, correspondence control/filing, time/attendance administration, and telephone support. Works independently or as a team member on a special assignment. Prepares a variety of reports, composing and/or editing data submitted by functional personnel. Prepares and manages correspondence; maintains calendars; Uses a variety of automated systems to track expenditures, correspondence, travel documents, budget, and payroll information. Makes travel arrangements
using the contractor's guidelines and the limits of the GSA travel and per diem restrictions. Assists with the preparation of travel for contract traveling members. Maintains records of itineraries while they are in a travel status. Prepares and /or assists travelers with travel vouchers upon their return. Assures travel vouchers are prepared and finalized in accordance with established GSA policies. Maintains a suspense log or urgent contract action items requiring reports are met and submitted within the designated time frames.
